ORA-5 was developed in the 1920's this non-toxic, sterilizing agent was used to prevent infections during dental procedures and for the treatment of periodontal diseases. ORA-5's active ingredients, copper sulfate and iodine, are safe and non-toxic and have been used safely for over 25 years.

Canker sore pain often results from bacteria which infect canker sores causing additional inflammation. ORA-5 kills bacteria dead reducing pain and discomfort and ORA-5 creates a protective covering over tender tissue and the exposed sensory nerves of the open sore. When no nerve endings are exposed, there is no pain. Just like a band aid, ORA-5 protects and heals!
